CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Three teenagers and an 11-year-old child have been accused of vandalizing a Clarksville business, with damage totaling over $300,000.
The widespread damage occurred at Eubanks business office at 2994 Eubanks Dr. Police said the juveniles responsible for the crime are 11, 13, 14, and 16 years old.
Officers discovered broken windows, destroyed appliances, and damaged furniture, fixtures, and plumbing. The carpeting inside the building was damaged, graffiti was spray painted on the walls, and fire extinguishers had been discharged.
Police also found burned wires that may have resulted from an attempt to destroy the surveillance system.

The juveniles were identified and detained on Sunday evening after they were spotted by Detective Pendarvis near the damaged building. At first they ran from the detective, but he coordinated with patrol officers to form a perimeter around the area, eventually taking the juveniles into custody.
The investigation and interviews by Detective Delle revealed the juveniles had entered the building on more than one occasion when they were bored and had “flipped the place upside down.”
The 13 and 14-year-old girls were charged with felony vandalism and the 16-year-old boy left his residence before he could be served with the juvenile petition for felony vandalism.
After further research and consideration, the 11-year-old (initially police were provided information that he was 10) has also been charged with felony vandalism. The juveniles were left in the custody of their families until their court appearances.
The damage assessment is incomplete, so the costs are expected to be more than $300,000.
