CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Multi-platinum hitmaker and country music singer, Justin Moore, prepares to take the stage at F&M Bank arena for the event center’s first concert and speaks to Clarksville Now of his love for America, music and patriotism.
Currently climbing through the Top 40 at Country radio, his latest single, “You, Me, and Whiskey,” follows in the footsteps of his 11th No. 1 hit, “With A Woman You Love,” which served as the first offering from his new album, Stray Dog, out now.

Moore’s patriotism and love for the Armed Forces
Moore’s love and appreciation for the military stems from the influence of his family. With two grandfathers both serving in the armed forces, he’s made it a point to show his gratitude for the men and women who have given him the opportunity and freedom to make music.
“It was something that was made aware to me at an early age,” Moore said. “These men and women actually do what matters. Don’t walk by one without shaking their hand and thanking them.”
Moore said that they’ve been fortunate to have a couple of hit records during his music career that honor those servicemembers. Specifically, “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away” and “The One’s That Didn’t Make It Back Home.”
Even when he is not travelling on the road, people still approach him, compelled to tell him their stories of their time serving on dangerous deployments overseas or families that have lost loved ones during the war, listening to his music to make it through the day.

His 17-year music career success
He reached double-digit chart success with his 10th No. 1, “We Didn’t Have Much,” which is featured on his album “Straight Outta the Country,” after Moore’s extensive fanbase helped boost his fifth studio album, “Late Nights and Longnecks,” to the top of the charts upon its release.
Over his career, Moore’s No. 1 hits have also included “Point at You,” “Lettin’ The Night Roll,” “Small Town USA” and “Till My Last Day” as well as his platinum-certified album “Outlaws Like Me.”
The Valory Music Co. recording artist has earned multiple ACM, ACA and ACC Award nominations as well as an ACM Award win. He has shared the stage with the likes of Hank Williams Jr., Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, routinely traversing coast-to-coast on headline runs and hitting the road this spring to headline his ‘You, Me, and Whiskey’ Tour.

‘You, Me, and Whiskey’ tour at F&M Bank arena
“It’s always fun, and I’ve made mention of this in the past and recently, that as an artist… we kind of forget about Nashville and the surrounding areas being a good market to go play because it’s the hub of country music,” Moore told Clarksville Now. “So, you almost forget about it. And every time you go and play there, you go, ‘damn, this market is awesome!’ There’re great fans here and we kind of forget about them. So, any time we come back and play there we try and take advantage of that and enjoy doing so, especially when you add on top of it the military influence in Clarksville specifically.”
“No pressure!” Moore laughed when asked how he feels about being F&M Bank Arena’s first concert performance. “Hopefully we can put some good juju in the building…that’s really cool to be a part of a night like that for the arena, the school, and the people involved. I feel blessed to be able to do so.”

“Hopefully I sing on key!” Moore joked. “That’s first and foremost. That’s always a goal. Hoping I remember the words, sometimes I don’t. In all seriousness, our goal, every night, is about the fans making our dreams come true. I’ve done this and been on the road for about 16, 17 years now. We go out on stage every night and try to repay them a little bit as best we can.”
“We hope at the end of the day they leave feeling like they got their money’s worth. If I felt like somebody came to the show and didn’t get their money’s worth and didn’t have a good time, I’d feel terrible and want to refund them.”
Moore said that every time they go out on stage they give ‘every single ounce of energy’ into the performance, and that’s what they plan to do this Friday at the F&M Bank arena.
Moore is set to perform at the Arena this Friday at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are still available for purchase at this time.
