Clarence Cameron White was an African-American music composer and violinist born in Clarksville, TN in 1880. This exhibit in our lobby features various artifacts from his life.

July First Thursday Art Walk
July 2, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Join us for the First Thursday Art Walk on July 2nd. The museum will be open with free admission from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

“Story Time with Ms. Sue”
July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, 11:00 – 11:20 a.m.
Join us as we learn about illustrators and their styles while listening to wonderful stories.

“Let’s Find”
July 1, 8, 15, 22, 31, 11:00 – 11:30 a.m.
This activity explores exhibits through specific topics and includes a story and a craft.

Family Day – “There’s Something Fishy Going on!”
July 12, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Stop in the Children’s Room to have your picture taken with a four-foot salmon, create your own “river monster”, find out what a paddle fish is, and see a picture of the fish that walks on land.

Children’s Room Theme: “All Along the River”
Open Daily 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Join Ms. Sue for these mini, topical tours for parents and children of all ages. Topics change weekly.
