Judy Yvonne (Scurlock) Duzan, 70, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville, TN.
Judy was born on September 9, 1944 in Wellston, OH to the late John Westerman Scurlock and Daisy Naomi Painter Scurlock.
She was also preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-laws, James E. McKinniss, Jean (Clinton) Dalton, Alverna (Raymond) Howard, Jackie Ray Duzan, and Robert Lemon.
Judy is survived by her husband, Clarence Duzan of Clarksville, TN; son, John (Teresa) Duzan of Lexington, KY; sister, Karen Sue (James, deceased) McKinniss of Jackson, OH; niece, Jeni (Rutger) van Oosten; two grandnieces, Samantha van Oosten and Evelien van Oosten; brother and sister-in-laws, Mary Fearl (Homer, deceased) Sexton, Ruby Mae (Rodney) Hall, Linda (Russell) McCleese, Danny Joe Lemon, Penny (Arthur) Potter, and Kathy Daulton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Judy was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church in Clarksville, TN.
Funeral service will be held at noon on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Bob Niles and Rev. Ben Falls officiating. Burial will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West in Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2014 and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
