CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A judge has reset the trial date for a Clarksville woman charged with leaving her 8-month-old daughter alone in a bathtub and causing her death.
24-year-old Nicole Pamblanco will face a jury on Oct. 27. She had been schedule to go on trial Monday.
Police say Pamblanco left her infant daughter, Abigail, alone in a bathtub and left the water running on Aug. 22, 2013, while she answered her door.
Clarksville Police were called to Pamblanco’s home and found CPR being performed on the unresponsive infant.
Abigail was taken to Vanderbilt University Children’s Hospital in Nashville and later removed from life support and began breathing on her own. She died six days later on Aug. 28. Abigail died after suffering extreme oxygen deprivation and reduction.
