Joseph William Lutz, age 79 of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at his residence.
A Celebration of Life service for Joseph will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 2:30 PM. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until the hour of service.
He was born on October 22, 1939 in Curwensville, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Rose Marie Marafini Lutz. He was a 14-year veteran in the United States Navy and later became a communications officer in the C.I.A where he was awarded a Gold Star for bravery. Joe enjoyed talking to people on his Ham-Radio under the handle W7LPF, playing golf, darts, bowling, and traveling the world.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Alice Lutz; son Joesph Lutz III; daughters: Maggie Rose Lutz, Cecely Anderson, and Marina Lutz; and 5 grandchildren.
