Joseph Lee Moran, Jr., age 70 of Waverly, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019, at the VA Hospital in Nashville.
He was born on May 18, 1949, in Memphis, TN to Joseph and Opal Hicks Moran. He was an active member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Waverly, TN. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was dedicated to the ministry of Jehovah.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings, Barbara Sanders, and Keela Moran. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Judy Moran; sons, Nathanael Moran and Samuel (Brittany) Moran; daughter Alice Moran; brothers, William and Mike Moran; sisters, Debbie Christian and Teresa “Faye” Grooms; and grandchildren: Aiden, Heidi, and Olivia.
