John William Clobes, age 73, of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
John was born December 15, 1942, in Schewenkville, PA, to the late Louis Franklin Clobes and Florence Mildred Daugherty Clobes.
John was retired from the US Army. He was a member of Gateway Christian Church.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, July 3, at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Scott Witt officiating. Full military honors will be rendered. Visitation will be Sunday, July 3, from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
John is survived by his wife, Barbara Clobes; son, Christopher Charles (Sheila) Clobes of Clarksville; two daughters, Tammy Gibbs of Melbourne, FL and Lisa (Robert) Rightmire of Clarksville; one brother; four sisters; seventeen grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
