John Pereira Silva, III, age 46, of Cunningham, TN, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014 at his home.
He was born April 18, 1968, in Newark, NJ, to John P. Silva, Jr., and the late Mary Garrett Silva.
John was a devoted Christian and member at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church where he volunteered for Sunday School. John enjoyed bible studies, sharing stories, and making people laugh. Mr. Silva was an incredible uncle.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 26, at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, with Pastor Bob Niles officiating.
John is survived by his father, John P. Silva, Jr. and stepmother, Lourie Silva, of Tom’s River, NJ; brother, Nicholas Silva, of California; two sisters, Nicole Durrua (Ed), of Tom’s River, NJ, and Christina Weaver (James), of Cunningham, TN; and his nieces and nephews that he loved and treated like his own, Krissi, Randy, Jessica, Dylan, and newest niece Vivienne.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home in John’s honor.
