John Rasori, Jr., age 79, of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016, at his residence.
John was born December 31, 1936, in Hopkinsville, KY, to the late John Rasori, Sr. and Virginia Hobgood Rasori. Mr. Rasori was a retired banker, having worked many years at Northern Bank and F&M Bank. He was a member of Hilldale Church of Christ.
Graveside service will be held Sunday, January 31, at 3:00 PM, at Green Hill Cemetery, in Bumpus Mills, TN, with Bro. Steve Kirby officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, January 30, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM, and Sunday, January 31, from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM, at the funeral home.
John is survived by his wife, Sondra Wallace Rasori; son, John (Felicia) Rasori III of McMinnville, TN; daughter, Elizabeth Rasori (Don) Osborne of Lewisburg, TN; and two grandsons, John-Ross and Joey Rasori.
Pallbearers will be Tom Gresham, Steve Taylor, Bill Welker, Gary Thomas, Morrell Boyd, Bruce Wallace, Scott Perry, and Vince Davidson. Honorary pallbearers will be Hugh Griffy and Dotson Guinn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
