John Robert Esser IV, age 27, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021. He was born June 19, 1992, in Norfolk, VA, the son of John Robert Esser III and Jamie Silos Esser of Clarksville.
He had attended Woodland High School in Beacon Falls, CT, and Naugatuck High School in Naugatuck, CT, and had lived most of his life in Connecticut before coming to Clarksville. While living in Connecticut, he played on several semi-pro football teams.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, John Robert Esser V, Ethan Esser, and Colton Esser. He is also survived by his brother Hunter MacKenzie Esser of Clarksville; his maternal grandmother Eileen Silos of CT; aunts Jill Silos, Buffy Burnside, and Heather Martin and an uncle John Silos as well as many cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers John Edward Silos and John R. Esser Jr. There will be memorial services at a later date held in Connecticut.
