John Henry Kidd Jr, age 69 of Clarksville, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare.
He was born in Clarksdale, Miss. on January 31, 1952 to the late Mary Moore and John Henry Kidd, Sr. He was raised by his granny, Ora Lee Jackson.
John was a traveling man and had a gift of gab. He never met a stranger, and he cared deeply for his children and grandchildren. John was an excellent dominoes player. He also loved to sing love songs by The Commodores. He attended a culinary program in Chicago, where it taught him the essentials on cooking. He enjoyed cooking and cooked at a lot of locations.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Jovares Kidd (Monica) and Joyika Kidd Mullen (Robert); brother, Charles Kidd; sisters, Gladys Moore, Sophie Moore and Diane Moore. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jovares Kidd II, Jacoria Grant, Jailyn Stamps and Jadyn Stamps.
Along with his parents, John is preceded in death by his granny, Ora Lee Jackson, and brother, Lester Kidd.
There will be no public services at this time.
