John David (JD) Bradley, Jr. was born November 15, 1944, in Clarksville, TN to John David Bradley, Sr. and Hazel Thomas Bradley. JD accepted Christ as his Lord and personal Savior and united with the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed reading the Bible.

JD graduated high school in Cincinnati, OH and was drafted into the Army very soon after. JD was drafted into the Army in June of 1963. He served in Germany and was honorably discharged in June of 1966. JD loved collecting and selling “antiques” and his family nicknamed him Fred Sanford for his “antique” collecting. He was a member of the Oakland Chapter of the Black Panther Party. He loved the Raiders, music, clothes, and the ladies (he was a big flirt!).

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, excluding Loretta Porter. He leaves to cherish precious memories to his daughters, Aisha Logan, Kenya (Greg) Pree, and Monica (Jovares) Kidd; sister, Loretta Porter; grandchildren, Shaughn Austin, Trezney Pree, Evian Pree, Lamont Pree, and Jovares Kidd; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville, TN on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. with visitation for one hour prior. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY.
