John Daniel Brinkley, age 83, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at his home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2021, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastor Ryan Crosslin officiating.
The family will receive friends Monday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
John entered this life on February 7, 1937, in Walters, OK to the late Thomas and Alice Harbor Brinkley. He worked as a roofer and was known as an excellent fisherman. John was also a Veteran of The United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lou Weaver Brinkley; grandchildren Jamie and Justin Brinkley; siblings, James Brinkley and June Brinkley.
Survivors include his children, Daniel (Cecilia) Brinkley, Gregory (Kathy) Brinkley, and John (Norma) Brinkley, Benita Brinkley, and Tina (Sam) Ayyad; grandchildren, Tabitha, Daniel, Dylan, Devin, and Piper Brinkley, Allen Harvey, Tiffany Garber, Domonick Holland, Robin Perry, Keith Jones, Timothy Hardy, Anthony Wall, Danielle Blecke, Natasha Fairfax and eight others.
