John Barry Springer, age 59, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, August 26, 2016, at his residence.
John was born May 18, 1957, in Davidson County, TN, to the late John Springer and Mildred Claytor Springer.
Mr. Springer was an avid golfer. He loved animals, the outdoors, and University of Alabama football. John was active in Clarksville fellowships and was a member of First Christian Church.
Celebration of Life will be held Friday, September 2, at 7:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Craig Wascovich officiating. Visitation will be Friday, September 2, from 5:00 PM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
John is survived by his wife, Elena Hines. He is the father to Ashley and John, and brother to Rebecca, Angela, and Laura.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Clarksville-Montgomery County Humane Society, 940 Tennessee Avenue, Clarksville, TN 37040; or to a charity of your choice.
