John B. Johnson age 73 of Clarksville, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at his residence.
He was born August 2, 1947, in Montgomery County, TN, the son of the late John Johnson and Queenie Copeland.
John served his country in the US Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He has worked in the Clarksville area for many years, most recently with Gary Mathews Auto Sales where he worked until his health no longer permitted.
He was a loving and caring husband and father.
Left to cherish John’s memory is his wife Tammy Perry Sheeks; daughters Brandy Johnson of Oregon; Amber Johnson of Oregon; and Tammy Johnson of Clarksville. Also surviving is a stepdaughter Brittany Layfield of Stewart County, TN; and a step son Scotty Chase Perry of Paris, TN. He is also survived by a brother Jessie Johnson of Clarksville; sisters Nancy Thompson of Clarksville; and Sue Sisco of Clarksville.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Linda Faye Johnson.
Funeral services for John will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, October 12, 2020, at the Kentucky Veteran Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY.
