A memorial service for Joe Douglas Groves, age 80, of Clarksville, TN will be Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Joe loved all kinds of music and never missed a chance to see a band play. He loved visiting friends and neighbors and was most proud of his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Anna Groves, brothers, Manson, Charles, Ruben, and grandchild, Braden Groves. He is survived by his children, Joseph “Chris” Groves and Anthony (Jennifer) Groves, grandchildren, Isrial Groves, Angelina Groves, Jayden Groves, and siblings; Terry Groves, Ann Black, Marsha Cerda, Kathy Peterson, and Sheila Lylo.
