Joe David Smith, Jr., age 59, of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at his home.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Northeast Baptist Church, 3900 Trenton Road in Clarksville, TN.
Joe entered this life on April 29, 1962, in Albany, GA to Joe David Smith, Sr., and Dorothy Bush Smith. He worked as a lumberjack and took great pride in his job. Joe loved to fish, work in his garden, and was the #1 Steelers fan in the world. He was the type of man who didn’t do anything small. Whatever he did, he did it wholeheartedly. Joe was a family man, who adored his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Sherri Smith; children, Lynzi Smith-Crouthamel, Heather Smith, Shannon Stepp, and Larry Wayne Stepp; brother, Anthony Smith; grandchildren, Jasmine, Jayden, Ashton, Janae, Allie, and David Crouthamel, Katelyn Smith, Koehn and Zane Vasquez, Karrine LeMay, Davy Stepp, Austin, and Codee Hanners.; nephews, A.J. Smith Christopher Smith, and Austin Smith.
