CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores is celebrating the grand opening of the new Clarksville, TN Jo-Ann on February 16.

Sewing and crafting enthusiasts in the Clarksville area now have a new resource for shopping and saving on a wide selection of merchandise to inspire their creative endeavors. From sewing and quilting to knitting, jewelry-making, scrapbooking and more, this store offers a range of crafting, floral and seasonal accessories, an extensive selection of fabrics for apparel, quilting, and home decorating, as well as many home decor items.

Grand opening festivities will begin Thursday, February 16, and continue through Saturday, February 18, with doors opening at 9 a.m. each day. On Thursday, a ribbon cutting ceremony will take place 15 minutes prior to the 9 a.m. store opening.

The three-day grand opening celebration activities include a gift card contest, mystery giveaways, sales, a children’s crafting event, and deals for teachers on Teacher Appreciation Day (Feb 18).

In celebration of this new store, Jo-Ann Stores Inspired to Help program will make a donation to support local education. One school in the community will receive a $2,000 grant which will be used to fund the education project of its choosing.

This store will also participate in a merchandise and cash donation program to benefit Jo-Ann partners, including The Kids in Need Foundation, whose mission is to ensure that every child is prepared to learn and succeed by providing free school supplies nationally to students most in need. “As a proud community supporter, Jo-Ann is pleased to make an impact locally — not only during our grand opening celebration, but throughout the year,” Soltau said.
