CLARKSVILLE, TN – “Rhinestone rock” artist Jenny Teator has dedicated the first single off of her upcoming debut album to the 101st Airborne Division. The song “Screaming Eagles,” to be released Nov. 10, pays homage to her grandfather’s journey as a member of the 101st who parachuted into Normandy on D-Day.
Teator’s late grandfather is Paul Byron Teator. The lyrics represent the letters he wrote home to his wife, Shirley, and to his father, according to publicist Sheridan Gates.

“My grandfather’s story is one of courage and resilience,” Teator said in a news release. “‘Screaming Eagles’ is my way of expressing gratitude for the sacrifices made by the brave soldiers of the 101st Airborne, especially those who jumped into the chaos of Normandy on D-Day. My hope is that through this song, I can bring hope and connection to those who are struggling and express my gratitude to those who have served and continue to serve our great nation.”

About Jenny Teator
Often compared to artists such as Elle King and Miranda Lambert, Teator’s music is defined by soulful vocal melodies, a combination of blues, rock and country guitar riffs, and danceable grooves, a fusion she calls “rhinestone rock.”
Since moving to Nashville, she has performed at The Bluebird Cafe, EXIT/IN, The Listening Room, 3rd & Lindsley and Whiskey Jam to name a few. She also took up a residency at BB King’s Blues Club, all while writing and recording her original music, Gates said.
Jenny Teator’s “Screaming Eagles” will be available on all major streaming platforms starting Nov. 10. Her debut album is set for release in fall 2024. For more, go to jennyteator.com or follow @jennyteator on social media platforms.
