A Celebration of Life service for Jeffrey “Jeff” Alan Grinstead, age 59 of Cunningham, will be Friday, January 8, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 7, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Jeff passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born on January 21, 1961, in Memphis, TN to Gene and Clara McWhorter Grinstead. He was a member of Gum Springs Baptist. He enjoyed singing, golfing, and spending time with family. He was a proud “Pappy” to his grandson and was known for his contagious laugh.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings: Tim Grinstead, Mike Grinstead, and Regina Thyssen. He is survived by his daughters, Jamie Grinstead and Alaina Grinstead; son, Lucas Grinstead; and grandson, Kellan Krause.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeff’s memory to the Gum Springs Baptist Church Benevolence Fund.
