Alice Jean Thomas, age 86, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at her home.
Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2023, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Freddy T. Wyatt officiating.
Entombment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Jean entered this life on November 24, 1936, in Montgomery County, TN to the late J.G. McCurdy and Cleo Plummer McCurdy. She was a lifelong member of Sango United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Thomas was married to the love of her life, Bob Thomas, who preceded her in death just twenty days prior, on April 3, 2023. Jean is also preceded in death by her siblings, Margaret (Lucion) Smith, Katherine (Raymond) Gibbs, Robert (Mary Nola) McCurdy, Joyce (Frank) Matthews, Billy McCurdy, and brother-in-law, Billy Groves.
Survivors include her son, Ricky (Cheryl) Thomas; daughter, Gayle Thomas; grandchildren, Ashley (Ryan) Lambert, Madison (John) Wilson, Mikayla Burton, Tony (Ashley) Burton, and Larry (Fabi) Burton; great-grandchildren, Olivia Lambert, Riley Wilson, Caden Wilson, Peyton Wilson, and Oliver Burton; sister, Peggy Groves, and sister-in-law, Barbara McCurdy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Pallbearers will be Earl Arnold, Bill Crawford, Jerry Ford, Jack Roberts, Alan Blatterman, and Tommy Bagwell.
