A Celebration of Life service for Jean Smith Waller, age 95, of Clarksville, TN, will be Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens where she will be laid to rest alongside her late husband, William Waller. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Jean was born on May 15, 1927, in Montgomery County, TN, to Jerome and Lillian Smith. She passed away on October 9, 2022. Jean was a member of Martha’s Chapel United Methodist Church and loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed cooking and canning foods
In addition to her husband and parents, Jean is preceded in death by her brother, Jerome “Buddy” Smith. She is survived by her daughters: Sara (Mike) Atkins, Rhonda (David) Scott, and Melony (Jim) Willard; sister, Bristol Gannaway; grandchildren: Paige (Rich) Commander, Lee (Staci) Atkins, Brian Scott, and Jennifer Scott; great-grandchildren: Shelby, Morgan, Makenzie, Cole, Cooper, and Emery; and great-great grandchild, Akley.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
