Janis Marie Williams, age 71, of Clarksville, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Irby. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Janis entered into this life on November 15, 1950, to William and Martha Miller Planck in Dickson, TN. Janis served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Military Police. Then worked in various positions in the Federal Government including in the Defense Investigative Service, FBI, Department of Defense. She received a master’s degree in Criminal Justice. She also worked as a Holistic Doctor and Nurse. Janis held many licenses and studied continuously both online and by reading books. She was a member of the Christian Fellowship Church in Paris, TN.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Williams.
Survivors include her mother, Martha Planck; first cousin, Jim (Cathy) Miller.
