Janice Byars, age 66, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Tuesday December 7, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, TN.
She was born January 15, 1955 in Gaffney, SC, the daughter of the late Albert Dover and Virginia Rawlison Dover. Janice is a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, north congregation.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Francis Byars of Clarksville; her son Franz Isaac Byars; her daughters Tiffany Nicole Taylor and Candice D. Byars. Also surviving are her step children Keith Studyvance (Shanevette), John Dean Manning, Constance S. Brewton (Frederick), Tasha Avery, Sandra S. Allen (Jonathan), and Coral E. Dover. Also surviving are brothers Albert Dover Jr., Larry Dover, Dennis Dover, Marion Dover, and John Dover. Also surviving are sisters Mary Haney, Sharon Byars, Helen Wood, Claudia Dover, and Paula Hamrick as well as 24 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers Harold Dover, Charles Dover, and James Wood and a sister Margeorie Watkins.
Funeral services for Janice will be at Gilmore Mortuary in Gaffney, SC. Local arrangements are under the care of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Clarksville, TN.
