CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The music event known as Jammin’ in the Alley will be making its return to downtown August 16 because of the efforts of local business owners following the June announcement that Clarksville Parks and Recreation will no longer be organizing the concert series.

In a Facebook event created by John Shephard of Edward’s Steakhouse, the first of three shows is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. with a performance by Joel Brown. The public is being invited to bring children and lawn chairs to the family friendly shows.

Attendance to the concerts is free.

Wristbands will be available for $5, which includes the cost of one beer and will allow attendees to purchase additional drinks.
