James Thomas “Porkchop” Whitlock, age 82 of Clarksville died Monday, August 12, 2013 at Centennial Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Garden. Visitation will be Friday, August 16, 2013 from noon until 7 p.m., with the family present from 5 p.m. until 7p.m. at Foston Funeral Home.

He was born August 14, 1930 in Montgomery County to the late James Whitlock and Lucy Bell. He was a member of St. Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the Deacon Board. He retired from Stone Container.

He leaves to cherish his memory loving and devoted wife Rubye Blane Whitlock; daughter Elise (Dennis) Williams of Clarksville, TN; sons Terry (Deborah) Whitlock and Tony Collier both of Clarksville, TN; sister Annie P. Beasley of Indianapolis, IN seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
