James Edwin Richardson, 68, Woodlawn, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014.
A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Blooming Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the church.
Mr. Richardson was born March 26, 1946 in Davidson County and was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Loren and Ella Leona Richardson; brother, Sam Richardson; and sisters, Frances Richardson and Betty Armstrong.
He was a painter, worked at Eastland Green Golf Course, and a member and Deacon of Blooming Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Binkley Richardson; sons, Jimmy (Claudia) Richardson, Sam (Janelle) Richardson; daughter, Angie (Kevin) Mummaw; brothers, Dennis Richardson, John Richardson; sister, Ruth Johnson; and eight grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
