James Ray “Pete” Lehman, age 87 of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at Tennova Healthcare.
Pete entered this life on December 15, 1933 to the late Hershel and Dolly Candler Lehman. He was a member of Northeast Baptist Church. Pete was employed at Frosty Morn for 18 years and Greenfield Trucking for 38 years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Pruitt Lehman, and son, Gary Lehman.
Survivors include his son, Ronnie Lehman; grandchildren, Vickie Nicholson, Gary Lehman, Jr. and Benjamin Smith; great-grandchildren, Tristan, Brianna and Brayden Nicolson; and siblings, John, Nell and Joan.
A celebration of his life will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 6 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Mulberry officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Friday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
