James Ray Malone, 49, of Clarksville, TN, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, April 14, 2014 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

James was born on November 8, 1964 in Savannah, TN. He was the son of the late Lawrence Robertson and Evelyn Joyce Morgan Robertson.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Hilldale Baptist Church with Dr. Larry Robertson officiating. Burial will be in Sango Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the church.

James was a U.S. Navy Veteran, having served 20 years and retired as Chief Petty Officer. He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and sports fan. He collected antiques.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Kim Hollin Malone of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Courtney Malone (Tauren) Glasl of Clarksville, TN; and two brothers, Dr. Larry (Beth) Robertson of Clarksville, TN and Michael (Anna) Robertson of Valdosta, GA.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1818 Patterson Street, Nashville TN 37203.
