James W. Coleman, (Jim), age 73, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family, on April 15, 2014. Jim was born September 27, 1940 to Lathie L. and Erlene Coleman.
Survivors include his wife Jean of 49 years; one son, Terry (Melinda); three grandsons, Josh, David and Izaak; two great grandchildren, Christina and James Ray; one sister, Sara Coleman of Clarksville; one brother, Darrell Coleman (Delores), of White House, TN.
A Celebration of his life will be 2 p.m. at Excell Baptist Church in Clarksville on Friday, April 18 with Terrell Marcom officiating. Burial will follow at Bellwood Cemetery in Adams, TN. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, and from noon until the hour of service Friday, April 18 at the church.
Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Excell Baptist Church Building Fund, 328 Excell Road, Clarksville, TN 37040.
