James Edward Oldham, age 79, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017, at Signature Healthcare.
James was born April 23, 1937, in Graham, KY, to the late Roy Oldham and Maybel Groves Oldham.
Mr. Oldham was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. He was a retired US Army veteran, having served over 20 years. He was also retired from the Clarksville Police Department, having served 23 years.
Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, April 12, at 10:45 AM at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, with Father Julian Ibemere and Father David Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, at 12:00 PM, with full military honors. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 12, from 9:00 to 10:30 AM, at the church.
James is survived by his wife, Joan Oldham; two sons, Terry (Selena) Oldham of Spokane, WA and Scott (Donna) Oldham of Nashville, TN; three daughters, Susan (Phillip) Baggett of Clarksville, Linda (Terry) Hampton of White House, TN, and Lisa (Tom) O’Halloran of Sherman, CT; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
