Jacquelyn Price Watts, born August 16, 1940, daughter of Chester G. Price Jr. and Retha Price Horner, went to join her Savior and family on Thursday, September 19, 2024.
Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Kenneth Watts; daughter, Sherry Watts Thomas Justice; son, Danny Watts; sister, Lynette Price; and brother, Dan Price.
Survived by daughters, Teresa Watts Kimmel (Cris), and Dawn Scyoc (Paul); six grandchildren, Nikki Thomas, Joseph Chimahosky, Ashley Chimahosky, Katelyn Morris, and Justin Scyoc; three great grandchildren, Brionna Thomas, Jaylon Townsend, and Peyton Chimahosky.
Jackie was a real estate broker and contractor since 1966. She opened the first real estate office owned by a woman, in 1968. She was a member of over 60 years and Sunday School teacher at Hilldale Baptist Church. Jackie was also a heart transplant survivor since 2002.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 24, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Jaylon Townsend, Justin Scyoc, Joey Chimahosky, Paul Scyoc, Kevin Brown, and Eric Wooten. Honorary Pallbearers are Women I Sunday School Class, Stanley Frazier, Jackie Rogers, Jimmy Bryant Jr., and Sammy Stuard.
