Jack Ewton Dillard, age 80 of Clarksville, passed away at his home on Monday, September 6, 2021, surrounded by his family.

Jack was born on March 4, 1941, to the late Ernest “Jack” Dillard and Nevie Rawls Dillard. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Sue Johnson, and daughter-in-law, Gretchen Dillard. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carol Rudolph Dillard; son, John Dillard of Fulton KY; his daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Chris Cook of Clarksville; his sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Dick Dean of Springfield, TN; and granddaughters, Kylann Dillard and Catie Cook.

Jack grew up in Springfield, TN, and had lived in Clarksville since 2004. He was a member of the Madison Street United Methodist Church. He is a 1963 graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Engineering and served in the U.S. Navy after graduation. Jack spent his professional career in the electric utility industry.

A Memorial service will be held, Saturday, September 11, 2021, at  11 a.m. at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home with Harriet Bryan officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or to Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center, 2220 Pierce Ave, Nashville, TN 37232.
