CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Tuesday, March 7 is National Pancake Day! We love a “holiday” that includes free breakfast.

IHOP – the International House of Pancakes – holds its annual “holiday” to celebrate all things pancakes and help raise money for charities including the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Shriner’s Hospitals, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time on Tuesday, you can get a free short-stack of pancakes at IHOP. The restaurant asks that in return you make a donation to the one of the participating charities.

EXTRA: Get free stuff on your birthday

Since starting the “holiday,” in 2006, IHOP says it has raised $24 million for charity. That’s a lot of pancakes!

Participation may vary, restrictions may apply. The Clarksville Madison Street and Governor’s Square Mall locations are participating. For other locations, it’s best to call ahead.
