CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Movies in the Park, the City of Clarksville’s free, outdoor movie series, continues on Saturday, July 27 with “The Grinch” at Liberty Park.
Pre-show activities include a Grinch-themed photo booth, local vendors and a special performance by Acro Dance Express. Austin Peay scientists will use polymers to create snow in July. Festivities begin at 4 p.m.
The movie will begin promptly at 8:05 p.m.
Patrons are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, food and drinks. Pets and alcohol are not permitted. Kona Ice Food Truck and MeMaw’s Kitchen will be available for food and drink purchases.
In the event of rain, outdoor movie screenings may have to be canceled or rescheduled. Check Facebook for updates about weather cancellations.
There are three events remaining in the 2019 movie series schedule:
- Aug. 17: “Ready Player One” at Liberty Park.
- Sept. 21: “Mary Poppins Returns” at Liberty Park.
- Oct. 12: “The Karate Kid” at Liberty Park.
