Isadore Bilbrew Jr., age 69, of Clarksville, TN departed this life on December 11, 2022. He was the son of Isadore Bilbrew Sr. And Sallie Carson Bilbrew. He was born July 9, 1953, in Jones County, MS.
Isadore was employed and retired from The Veterans Administration as an X-ray Technician. He also honorably served in the United States Army for 7 years and transitioned from the military to pursue his civilian education; receiving an Associate’s in Applied Science from Milwaukee Area Technical College. Isadore enjoyed fishing, cooking, spending time with his cat, working on vehicles and especially dancing.
Isadore is preceded in death by T.C. McGee, Stuart McGee, Johnny Carson of Milwaukee, WI, and his only sister, Dorothy Newell of Laurel, MS. In addition to his parents, he leaves to cherish his memory, a wife, Casimira Myrie-Bilbrew; 4 children, Yovanka Maria Bilbrew, Isadore Bilbrew Jr., Isadore Bilbrew IV, and Tina Lee. He enjoyed 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many stepchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and two siblings: brothers, Sam Bilbrew and Bill Bilbrew, and many relatives and friends.
A brief memorial service will be held at Gateway Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation for one hour prior.
