Irvin Landon Baggett, age 80, of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at his residence.
Landon was born July 24, 1937, in Montgomery County, TN, to the late Irvin Ernest Baggett and Pearl B. Baggett. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Roy Brake Baggett; and three sisters, Marie Janssen, Mary Naomi Berard, and Madeline B. Tyson.
Baggett retired from Trane Company and was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church. He was a US Army veteran, having served in Korea.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, June 2, at 11:00 AM, at the chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Joe Haley, Rev. Alan Jenkins, and Dr. Larry Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Harvey Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, June 1, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, and Saturday, June 2, from 9:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
Landon is survived by his wife, Judy Edmondson Baggett; son, Edward Landon (Melissa) Baggett of Canton, GA; daughter, Shana (Alan) Jenkins of Gallatin, TN; and three grandchildren, Cole Baggett, Dylan Baggett, and Alaina Jenkins.
Pallbearers will be Joey Schwenz, Doug Tyson, Greg Berard, Randy Malecha, David Malecha, and John Parchman. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Joe Haley’s Sunday school class.
