CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Clarksville Fire Rescue investigators and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation are looking for information about a suspicious house fire in northwest Clarksville on Sunday.
At about 4:50 a.m., CFR was on the scene of the fire at 522 Sourwood Drive, north of Dover Road. Firefighters arrived to heavy flames and smoke coming from the back and roof of the house, according to CFR.
Nobody was home at the time, and there were conflicting reports on whether the house was vacant. No injuries were reported.
Investigators are asking the public to come forward with any information. An award of up to $5,000 may be paid for the information that leads to the identification of any person committing arson.
