CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A man was arrested for public intoxication at the Walmart Supercenter located at 1680 Fort Campbell Boulevard on Friday, February 20.

When officers responded to the call at 8:32 p.m., they found Marcus McCann, 43, standing outside of the store. According to the arrest warrant, McCann smelled of alcohol, and had both slurred speech and watery eyes. He told officers that he fell in the parking lot, and planned to sue the store.

Upon further investigation, officers discovered that McCann was allegedly “bothering employees and causing a scene by demanding rides from them,” according to the warrant. He also stated that he was homeless and had no place to go.
