Update, 2:25 p.m.: Traffic on the interstate is back to normal.
Update, 1:20 p.m.: The eastbound lanes of I-24 are back open. However, there appears to be a secondary wreck that has the lanes backed up from about mile marker 7 past Exit 4 to about mile marker 2.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Interstate 24 eastbound was closed in Clarksville Sunday morning after a two-vehicle wreck.
At about 5:49 a.m., Clarksville Police responded to the crash on I-24 eastbound near mile marker 11, according to spokesman Officer Scott Beaubien. Officers confirmed that there was one fatality.
I-24 was shut down at MM11 through MM19 (Maxey Road) and traffic was being diverted off the interstate and onto Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway (76 Connector). The I-24E onramp is shut down as well and motorists are advised to find an alternate route until the roadway can be opened back up.
At 8:30 a.m., eastbound traffic was backed up from Exit 8 to Exit 11. Traffic is also backed up on 41A for about 4 miles from Exit 19.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the wreck.
