Ingrid Lowe, age 77, of Clarksville, TN, died February 18, 2023, at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville after a prolonged illness.
She was born September 28, 1945, in Coburg, Germany to the late Joseph Wurst and Elsa Schaller. She was the oldest of six siblings. In addition to her parents, Ingrid was preceded in death by her son, Stefan Lowe.
Ingrid is survived by her husband LaVern “Skip” Lowe; children Maik (Colleen) Lowe of Franklin, TN, Patricia Inbody (Marc) of Cosby, TN; sister/daughter Connie (Stephen)
Sholders of Clarksville, TN. She is survived by 11 grandchildren – Rachael and Nathan Inbody, Doug and Jennifer Lowe, Sandi Lewis, Micah Sholders, Tessa Reynolds, Tara Furnas, Brandon Sather, Brittney Neagos, and Trevor Lowe.
Ingrid was a German citizen, Master Gardener, and devoted wife, mother, and sister. She moved to America in 1968 an Army wife and new mother. She learned a new language, adapted to a new culture, and thrived as a brave homemaker. In addition to raising the children, Ingrid worked for Baggett Rental for several years.
A celebration of Life Service will be held in the Chapel of Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2023. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the service.
