Inge Maria Leighty, age 82, of Indian Mound, TN passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024.
Celebration of Life will be held 12 p.m. on Friday, November 15, 2024, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Friday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Inge entered his life on March 6, 1942, in Germany to the late Guntun and Maria Gieb. She was a Christian and a member of both the Pinnacle Bowling League and the Edelweiss Club.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, James Joseph Hanson; grandson, James Higgbee, and siblings, Gunta, Boop, Deana, Maria.
Survivors include her husband, Lt. Col. (Ret) Jacob Leighty III; daughters, Victoria Taylor (Dwayne Gallegar), and Maria Ann Spink (Troy); siblings, Marlana, Marga, and Susan. Inge also leaves behind five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
