CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Beginning in November the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting Special Needs Nights at the Indoor Aquatic Center on the second Saturday of every month, through April 2014. The first night of the season will be Saturday, November 9 from 6-8p.m.
The event is open to children and adults with mental and physical disabilities and their families. Cost to attend is $1 per person, including family members who may not be swimming.
This event will allow special needs families to enjoy the pool while getting acquainted with the water or practicing previously learned water safety skills.
Pre-registration is available at recpro.cityofclarksville.com and is encouraged.
