CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Imari Berry has done it again. On Dec. 21, Berry scored her 2,000th point in a game against White House. On Tuesday, she was honored for her achievement in front of her home crowd and fans, following a 54-37 win over Springfield.

Berry is only the second player in Clarksville High women’s basketball history to reach this mark, joining legend Basharra Graves. And Berry scored another 25 points in the Wildcats’ win over the Yellow Jackets, right below her season average.

The Clemson commit continutes to add to her legacy, as the Wildcats record is unscathed so far this season. The ultimate goal and message from Berry is that she wants to go all the way and win it in Murfreesboro. The current No. 13 prospect in the class of 2024 has not won a state tournament game in her career, and has only made it to the glass house once.

The biggest challenge for Clarksville this season will come from the Rossview Hawks. The most impactful women’s basketball game in Clarksville so far this season between 2,000-point scorer Imari Berry and 1,000-point scorer Torri James will take play Tuesday, Jan. 16, in the battle of Warfield Boulevard.

The Clarksville High boys basketball team lost to Springfield, 70-59.

The Wildcats will host Dickson County on Thursday.
