The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library hosted an Imagination Library “Hats Off to Reading” event Thursday, June 25. Celebrity readers including Tennessee’s First Lady Crissy Haslam who read a book to children. There were over 180 youngsters along with their families who attended the event.

Other celebrity readers were APSU Head Football Coach Kirby Cannon and the APSU mascot The Governor. Channel 4 Chief Meteorologist Lisa Spencer, Snowbird, the Predator’s mascot, Gnash, and an Imperial Stormtrooper from Star Wars were also there. In the library theatre children read to and interacted with Tender Paws therapy dogs.
