Ila Good McKinney, 65, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at Gateway Medical Center.
Ila was born on September 15, 1949, in Marion, NC to Young Marion Good and the late Genia Wiseman Good.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Dr. Larry Robertson officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015, from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Committal service will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2015, at 3 p.m. EST at Hicks Chapel Cemetery in Marion, NC with Rev. David Edwards officiating.
Ila was a banker for over 25 years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Clarksville.
Ila is survived by her husband, Ronald R. McKinney of Clarksville, TN; father, Young Marion Good of Marion, NC; son, Chad D. McKinney (Rhonda) of Franklin, TN; brother-in-law, David McKinney (Marilyn) of Marion, NC; and two grandchildren, Callie and Cassie McKinney of Franklin, TN.
The family would like to give a special thank you to a Ila’s good friend and caregiver, Ima Atkins.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
