CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Ice that formed overnight brought down trees, power lines and contributed to nearly a dozen crashes. 

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports power lines down or low to the ground at Hay Market Rd and one at Hornbuckle Rd.

According to the Sheriff’s office Facebook page, ice has formed on area bridges and overpasses and advise using caution when approaching areas with potential ice.

As of 8:00 am Sunday, nearly 10,000 power outages have been reported in Montgomery and surrounding counties.
