NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The westbound lanes of Interstate 24 have reopened after being shut down following a 23-vehicle crash.

According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, the incident was reported at 1:50 p.m. at exit 56 near Harding Place and Haywood Lane.

A total of 23 vehicles, including a box truck and an 18-wheeler, were involved in the accident. There were no reports of serious injuries.

I-24 West was closed for several hours but all lanes were cleared shortly before 5 p.m.
