CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville police have made an arrest in the triple homicide that occurred Thursday morning on Mills Drive in Clarksville.

27-year-old Jordan Hazel was booked into the Montgomery County Jail around 9:30 p.m. and charged with three counts of homicide. He is being held without bond.

Hazel is accused of fatally shooting his wife and two children.

According to an arrest warrant, Hazel admitted to the alleged crime during an interview with police.

According to a release, when police arrived on scene Hazel was detained outside of the residence and transported to the Special Operations Unit where he was interviewed by Detective McClintock.

Detective McClintock determined through his investigation that Jordan Hazel shot his wife, Keara Hazel (23) and their two children Kayden Hazel, 3 years old, and Jaylynn Hazel, 9 months old.

The arrest warrant says Hazel’s first court date is September 21, 2017.
